In Marne, the national police is launching its recruitment campaign for reservists for the year 2026. Adults can register online to volunteer in their free time. After training, they will be assigned to the police stations in Reims, Châlons-en-Champagne, or Épernay.

By launching its 2026 recruitment campaign, the Marne national police hopes to attract any French national, of legal age, up to 67 years old, who wants to get involved in their free time. No degree is required, but a clean criminal record and completing the defense and citizenship day are necessary.
A one-month training will prepare them for assignment to a police station in Marne. Candidates can now register online. They will then be called for a 20-minute interview, followed by a medical examination to validate their ability to become operational reservists.
A four-week training will be offered in two phases. After the preparation phase, which includes online training and training at a nearby police station, candidates will sign their engagement contract. Once assigned to the police stations in Reims, Châlons-en-Champagne, or Épernay, the new recruits will undergo a second cycle of online and on-site training within their department.
Upon completion, reservists will work up to 90 days per year in their free time. They will assist professional police officers in the field, particularly in road safety missions or public surveillance.
Each working day is paid €74 gross, tax-free.
