The Toulon Defense Event returns on April 23, 2026 at the Palais des Sports with a clear ambition: to showcase a strategic sector in full expansion and directly connect candidates with recruiters. Over 5,000 job offers will be available to all profiles.
Sovereignty, innovation, social utility: the defense sector is now a key sector, at the heart of economic and strategic challenges. In this context, recruitment needs are growing rapidly. To meet this demand, France Travail, CIRFA, and the entire employment network are organizing the Toulon Defense Event, a must-attend event in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur dedicated to employment in defense and public security.
A territory at the heart of defense:
As the leading military department in France, Var concentrates a unique ecosystem with 31,000 direct jobs, 13,000 indirect jobs, and nearly 2,500 defense-related companies. This dynamic is expected to strengthen in the coming years.
A diversity of careers for all paths:
With over 200 represented professions, the event caters to everyone: young people, students, job seekers, individuals in career transition, without qualifications and up to and beyond Bac +5. Armed forces, public security, defense civilians, Directorate General of Armaments will come together to offer a comprehensive view of employment and career opportunities.
Testing, understanding, projecting: an immersion at the heart of the professions:
Beyond recruitment, the Toulon Defense Event offers a unique immersive experience on over 3,000 sqm. The goal is to allow visitors to concretely discover the professions and innovative equipment and also to project themselves. Flight and aerobatic simulators, drone demonstrations, canine team animations, health courses, and naval forces devices will punctuate the day. These are all opportunities to interact with professionals and inspire vocations.
Direct access to employment:
Over 80 exhibitors will be present with nearly 4,000 expected visitors. Thousands of interviews can be conducted on-site, facilitating a quick transition from meeting to employment.
