In a strategic environment marked by accelerating technological disruptions, quantum applications in computing, sensors, and communications are crucial factors for operational superiority and sovereignty.

The forum aims to structure the national ecosystem of quantum technologies to serve defense objectives. This event highlights the Defense Ministry’s involvement in the national quantum strategy, emphasizing the potential and sovereignty issues associated with quantum technologies. It will bring together stakeholders from the defense industry as well as civil industry, research organizations, and investors.

Held under the patronage of Catherine Vautrin, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, the forum will also involve:

  • Patrick Pailloux, Delegate General for Armaments,
  • Armaments Engineer Patrick Aufort, Director of the Defense Innovation Agency,
  • Armaments Engineer Laura Chaubard, Director-General of the Ecole Polytechnique.

The program includes conferences, workshops, roundtable discussions, and meetings with military branches, departments, and their partners to explore the advancements and potential offered by quantum technologies in the defense sector.
