The Jungle Strike Championship confirms its rising power in its 4th edition at the Parnasse in Nîmes, following an electrifying evening. “Frankly, the feeling is enormous. We had over 3,750 people with an amazing atmosphere from beginning to end,” said the organizer, Jordan Kapa.
The event featured four amateur and six professional fights, following two cancellations related to weight requirements. Among the amateurs, local fighters Kébé and Rais failed to impress their home crowd, both defeated by Montpellier’s Sekkal and Outtaleb.
In the professional category, local talent Taisumov delivered a strong performance despite a short preparation time, dominating Robert with aggressive elbow work, leading to the fight being stopped in the second round. French fighter Nazurov also secured a win via submission in the first round against Brazilian Simao.
In a key fight for the JSC belt, French fighter Saliev quickly ended the suspense against Peruvian Llontop with an effective ground-and-pound in the first round.
The highlight of the evening was the featherweight belt (66 kg) bout between Brazilians Brito and Pereira. “The main event was a real war, clearly a Fight of the Night, the type of fight that leaves a lasting impression and generates conversation,” shared Kapa.
An intense and balanced showdown between the 200th and 220th ranked fighters ensued. After a competitive first round, Brito tried to set the pace, but Pereira gradually gained the advantage, especially with strong leg strikes.
After five engaging rounds, the South American champion retained his belt, solidifying Jungle’s reputation and gaining recognition beyond France.
