On April 11 and 12, the Aveyron Sport Santé association and Groupama d’Oc are coming together for sports-health and well-being at Château d’Arvieu.

The majestic setting of Château d’Arvieu recently hosted a “Sports-Health and Well-being” workshop, offering 17 participants aged 40 to 77 a rejuvenating break in the heart of Aveyron.

This stay was not a coincidence: the Aveyron Sport Santé association was awarded the “Sports in the service of inclusion and health” project. This recognition emphasizes the relevance of its actions to make physical activity accessible to all audiences, without exception.

This success was made possible thanks to the significant financial support from Groupama d’Oc. Through this commitment, the mutual insurer affirms its desire to concretely act for health prevention in its territory. This partnership made the event accessible, illustrating a common vision: enabling everyone to take charge of their own health, regardless of age or physical condition. The association warmly thanks Groupama d’Oc for the trust placed, allowing this wonderful project to come to life.

The program harmoniously combined practice and theory. Nordic walking, pilates, stretching, and posturalball sessions were alternated with therapeutic education on the benefits of physical activity and nutrition.

This is where all the charm and technicality of the profession of teacher in adapted physical activity (APA) reside.

The supervision, led by Patricia Arnal, transformed the group’s heterogeneity into a real strength.

Despite very diverse physical abilities, each participant was able to evolve at their own pace in an atmosphere of collective kindness.

In addition to the quality of the activities, the participants highlighted the exceptional welcome of Anaëlle, who ensured the comfort of everyone in this exceptional place. A successful experience that confirms the importance of local sports-health.
