As we enter mid-May, one of the standout events of the season is here – the 23rd edition of Nuits Sonores starts this week. From Thursday, May 13 to Sunday, May 17, the festival promises 4 nights of intense music.

An electric lineup

From electro to dub, rave, and acid house, a variety of styles are on offer with renowned techno artists from the 1990s like Leftfield, the trio The Sabres of Paradise, and the Manchester group 808 State, as well as newer faces like Amelie Lens and Rødhåd.

For the third year in a row, Nuits Sonores sets up their headquarters at the Grandes Locos, a former technical site of SNCF located in La Mulatière. With 4 stages in place, the Days and the Closing Day will take place there from 4 pm to midnight.

From 10 pm to 5 am, the nights will be held at the Sucrière, and Labs from 11 am to 2 am at the Grandes Locos, Hotel 71, and the Comoedia. Special concerts are also scheduled. On Thursday evening at 6:30 pm, Kali Malone will perform at La Chapelle de la Trinité. On Friday and Saturday, the punk artist Baby Volcano will be at the Subs at 8 pm.
