Donald Trump threatens to resume strikes against Iran

  • Donald Trump said he was ready to resume strikes against Iran.
  • In case of an attack, the American president could target the vicinity of Iranian nuclear facilities.
  • What would this plan of the United States consist of? Nivin Potros, LCI journalist, provides details.

Did Donald Trump have an attack plan? The American president stated on Tuesday, May 19, that he was prepared to bomb Iran. Nearly three months after the start of the war in the Middle East, the United States could attack the vicinity of Iranian nuclear facilities.

Nivin Potros, LCI journalist, details this possibility: “The Americans would draw virtual circles around the Iranian facilities. Anyone entering would simply be eliminated. This plan was suggested to Donald Trump by Lindsey Graham, a senator very close to the president,” she explains in the segment at the top of this article.

This American plan, called the “Circle of Death,” aims to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons while the occupant of the White House wants to recover the enriched uranium from Tehran.

Three Iranian sites, monitored by Americans, would be in Donald Trump’s sights. “There is Isfahan, where the majority of Iranian enriched uranium is located, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), but also the sites of Fordo and Natanz,” assures Nivin Potros.
