This new site marks a milestone towards the continued global development of Solos, Prodalim’s patented platform for aroma recovery and beverage innovation, positioning Solos at the heart of one of the world’s most important wine regions, enhancing collaboration with major beverage producers.
Following the recent opening of the Solos Iberia site and the establishment of joint ventures in Germany and Switzerland, this expansion further accelerates Solos’ global platform.
California represents over 80% of wine production in the United States, producing about 2.5 billion liters annually, making it a global hub for wine production and beverage innovation.
The Hopland site has an initial processing capacity of around 15 million liters per year, with short-term development potential.
With this acquisition, Prodalim now operates four sites in the United States, including its headquarters and juice solutions hub in Winter Garden, Florida, an R&D and specialty ingredient production center, and industrial juice terminals in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, and South Gate, California.
Through the Solos platform, Prodalim uses exclusive technologies to recover and recreate natural aromatic components of fermented beverages, enabling producers to enhance authenticity and preserve sensory quality across all evolving beverage categories.
These new activities complement collaboration with producers in Northern California, including Rack & Riddle Holdings, LLC, the largest producer of custom sparkling wines in the United States.
As part of its recent transformation, Prodalim has reorganized its activities into three divisions focused on specific goals:
– Juice Solutions: a one-stop shop for juice producers, covering sourcing, logistics, formulation, and blending. – Specialty Ingredients and Solutions: offering flavorful and functional ingredients such as FTNF (From the Named Fruit or directly sourced fruit flavors), aromas, essential oils, citrus fibers, and natural colorants, supported by an in-house R&D department. – SOLOS: a premium patented dealcoholization platform, serving the rapidly growing NoLo segment.
