Meeting on Wednesday, May 13 in the Frédéric-Bazille room, the Saint-Clément-de-Rivère municipal council continued beyond 10 p.m., with a particularly dense agenda.

Among the main subjects discussed, the signing of an agreement for the occupation of public land with Cellnex France SAS sparked numerous reactions. On this subject, Sylvain Hogie, elected by the majority, questioned the council on the concerns of several local residents around the installation of 5G antennas on the water tower near the technical services. Then the council validated the sale of a municipal plot to the company “Un roof pour tous”, as well as several land regularizations. Then, the nominations of municipal representatives to the intercommunal commissions of Grand Pic Saint-Loup were voted on unanimously.

More than €40,000 in subsidies were also allocated to local associations. During the votes, several elected officials involved in the associative fabric temporarily left the room in accordance with the rules in force.

Another notable decision: the creation of a position of facilitator and manager of municipal plants, for actions linked to ecological transition and biodiversity. Finally, more than €1 million in contracts were awarded for the extension and renovation of the town hall.
