Washington has been conducting a campaign of strikes in the Pacific and the Caribbean for several months against ships suspected of participating in drug trafficking activities feeding the United States.
Four men were killed on Tuesday by the United States in the eastern Pacific, announced the American military, which continues its strikes on boats suspected of drug trafficking in a controversial military campaign with a toll of at least 174 deaths, including 11 in the last few days.
The US military command for Latin America and the Caribbean (Southcom) stated in a message that the ship targeted on Tuesday was “engaged in narcoterrorism operations”.
