On March 25th, Loana was found unconscious at her home in Nice. This incident had been going on for several days, as revealed by the public prosecutor of Nice, who also disclosed that the former star of Loft Story had likely fallen backwards in her apartment. The public prosecutor also declared that the intervention of a third party was completely ruled out. Her dog, Titi, was also found unconscious alongside her.
On April 10th, around 11 am, Loana’s family and friends gathered at the Cathedral of Sainte-Réparate in Nice to pay their final respects. Her mother Violette, brother Gérald, best friend Delphine, and the mayor of Nice, Eric Ciotti, were in attendance. Several public figures also came to bid farewell, including Steevy Boulay, Christophe, Julie Mercy, Alexia Laroche-Joubert, and Benjamin Castaldi.
Less than a week after the former reality TV star’s funeral, controversies reignited. On Wednesday, April 15th, Loana’s former best friend, Eryl Prayer, took to Instagram to criticize someone without directly naming them. He insisted on his efforts to take care of Loana and warned that any disputes would be settled through the justice system, not in the media.
Eryl Prayer’s comments have sparked speculation about Laurent Amar, with Prayer expressing his frustration towards him and Loana’s mother for not taking actions when they couldn’t reach Loana. He accused Amar of being an opportunist capitalizing on Loana’s death. Tensions continue to rise in the aftermath of Loana’s passing.
