The Lyon-based recruitment group Adéquat (2,100 employees, 420 agencies) has announced the acquisition of the British firm Solutions Driven, specializing in executive search and integrated recruitment solutions (RPO) in the engineering and technical sciences sectors.
Ranked 46th global staffing player by Staffing Industry Analysts, the Adéquat group (€1.4 billion in revenue in 2024) completes 200,000 recruitments per year for 16,000 clients.
After establishing a presence in Italy in 2024, the UK is considered “one of the main European recruitment markets,” especially in engineering and technical sciences (Stem) where recruitment tensions remain “strong.”
Founded in 1998 in Glasgow, Scotland, and operating in more than 60 countries, Solutions Driven specializes in “executive search” missions and strategic profile recruitment with a success rate of “97% from the first recruitment.” The company will continue to operate “under its own brand, with its management team maintained,” according to the Lyon group.
A Talent Summit was organized in Lyon, marking Adéquat’s eighth international acquisition following its expansions in France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Canada.
“This acquisition reflects our long-term strategy: to build an international staffing group driven by expertise, specialization, and strong local leadership,” said Arnaud Brun, chairman of the Adéquat Group’s supervisory board.
Founded in Lyon in 1987, the company will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2027 and operates in various sectors such as construction, logistics, industry, healthcare, energy, environment, and aerospace.
In June 2026, the Group will host the first French Talent Summit in Lyon, described as “one of the largest European events” dedicated to HR and leadership.
