Pool I
CA Castets (12th – 12 points): The fate of the Castets team has been sealed for a few weeks. At the end of a long and laborious season, during which their record is limited to three wins and as many draws, they will re-enter departmental competitions, where a necessary reconstruction awaits them.
Targon-Soulignac FC (3rd – 35 points): Following a last victory (2-0) obtained at the Castets, the players from Entre-deux-Mers have climbed to the third step of the podium. Their ranking is consistent with their potential and the quality of a journey that has suffered too many irregularities to open up other perspectives or vie for the first place, synonymous with promotion to R2. One final effort will be necessary, in the ultimate match against La Ribère, to validate it.
Pool L
SC Cadaujac (2nd – 42 points): The Cadaujac team can boast of being the first team this season – probably the only one – to have “brushed shoulders” with SA Mérignac B, the pool leader. For coach Simon Hébras’ final appearance on the “red and black” bench, his players offered him, last Sunday against the secondary Samistes team, a prestigious success (1-0) that places the Bordeaux suburbs side on par with the second place. Holding onto this position, also coveted by FC Pays Aurossais, will be the stake of the last match of the season against Saint-Paul Sport B.
FC Pays Aurossais will compete with SC Cadaujac for the second place in Pool L on the last matchday. B.M.
FC Pays Aurossais (3rd – 41 points): Certainly, the players of President Jérôme Laurent will regret having been pitted against a group dominated by invincible Mérignac reserves until the penultimate matchday of the championship. With 12 wins, four draws, and only three losses, they display a record that could have earned them more than a podium spot in other pools. During their last away game of the season, against the Pau team, they will try to secure second place. For honor!
La Brède FC B (4th – 30 points): The B team from La Brède had a good championship. Adjusting to the needs of the first team, integrating young players, while accumulating enough points to live serenely at the end of the season. The goal of staying in the league is assured, and they will ensure, in the last match against Artiguelouve, to maintain their place in the top half of the standings.
