There will be no fan zone in Paris for the Champions League final on May 30, according to information obtained by ICI Paris-Ile-de-France from the entourage of Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire on Monday, May 11. “In his role, Emmanuel Grégoire takes into account the arguments of the police prefecture,” indicates his entourage. The Paris police prefect had stated on Saturday being opposed to the installation of this fan zone.
This decision is due to the significant number of events taking place parallel to the PSG vs. Arsenal match on May 30. Singer Aya Nakamura is performing at the Stade de France, rappers Damso and Bouss are respectively at La Défense Arena and the Accor Arena. The 2026 Roland-Garros tennis tournament will also be ongoing.
