Due to Strasbourg’s qualification for the semi-finals of the Conference League, the multiplex for the 33rd day of Ligue 1 will be rescheduled. The UNFP trophies will also change dates.

Strasbourg’s European qualification has consequences for Ligue 1. After overturning Mainz (4-0) at the Meinau on Thursday, Racing secured their spot in the Conference League semi-finals. In the next round, the Alsacians will face the Spaniards from Rayo Vallecano, with a first leg match on April 30 and a return leg on May 7.

UNFP trophies also postponed

Initially scheduled for May 9, the multiplex for the 33rd day of Ligue 1 will need to be rescheduled. In principle, the LFP will postpone it to Sunday, May 10. Consequently, this should also delay the UNFP trophies. The League is expected to communicate in the coming hours.

On the other hand, Strasbourg will have to travel to Angers on May 10. Moreover, the 33rd day match between Lens and Nantes will be moved up to Friday, May 8. This decision comes after the postponement of the match between Lens and PSG, scheduled for May 13.

Defeated last Thursday by Mainz with a score of two goals to zero, Strasbourg managed to overturn the German club in front of their home crowd on Thursday, April 16. RCSA will play the first European semi-final in their history against Rayo Vallecano. The season could be historic for Racing, who also have a French Cup semi-final to play on April 22 at the Meinau against OGC Nice.
