In a morning incident on Monday, May 11, 2026, the actor Michaël Youn witnessed two hooded individuals, one of them armed, invade his home in Bouches-du-Rhône. While no physical violence occurred, the event was still traumatic, especially for the actor’s 14 and 7-year-old children. According to reports, the couple’s daughter was even held at gunpoint with a long weapon before the burglars fled on a motorcycle with their loot.
The following day, on May 12, 2026, Michaël Youn took to social media to reassure everyone and make a light-hearted remark about the situation. In his post, he mentioned the presence of children, chocolate muffins, hooded men, and German shepherds in his kitchen, adding a touch of humor despite the circumstances.
Clarifying the situation, Michaël Youn emphasized that while the incident was traumatizing, there was no physical harm, only a threat with a firearm.
