To capture the first images of the celebrities present this year at Cannes, it’s not on the sidelines of the red carpet that you need to be positioned, but rather at Nice airport. And the paparazzi have understood this well. Last night, evidently desiring to arrive early, Jane Fonda appeared at the exit of the terminal, heading towards the taxis. Surrounded by her team but especially encircled by photographers, the 88-year-old American actress managed to slip away to disappear into a vehicle heading to her hotel in Cannes.
A few minutes later, another American actress stepped onto French soil, the famous Demi Moore. She, chosen to join the jury of this 79th edition in the feature films category, set sail for the Grand Hyatt Cannes Martinez for the jury’s annual dinner. She met there the South Korean director Park Chan-wook, who arrived during the day and is also on the jury this year. The next morning, on Tuesday, May 12th, the former German model Heidi Klum appeared radiant on the Cannes pavement.
The French remain discreet
So far, only the actress Anaïs Demoustier has been seen in Cannes. Starring in the film “Electric Venus” which will be presented as the opening film tonight, she will participate in the red carpet alongside Pio Marmaï, Gilles Lellouche, Vimala Pons, and director Pierre Salvadori.
