On May 1st, the celebration continued with residents and visitors gathering at 11 am to witness an “abrivado” with the bulls from the Alain herd. Organized by the festival committee and sponsored by the Autobus bar and the Touristes bar, this highly anticipated event once again drew a large crowd.
Following that, the musical atmosphere was provided by three bands including the local Los Neblats band, and two other guest bands: the Bonhomme band and the Villeveyrac band. With dynamic and engaging repertoires, they managed to enliven the village square and entertain the spectators.
The children were not forgotten. In addition to the beautiful funfair, a fairground organized by the festival committee allowed them to enjoy fun activities that they appreciated.
Another highlight was the pétanque tournament, which was a great success with 98 teams participating! In the evening, the bulls also made an appearance in the arena, extending the entertainment and keeping the public’s interest until the highly anticipated evening!
An evening that brought together a young audience around the Extravaganza by Cassou entertainment. The ambiance was set by DJ Robin Moreli, with a music program that got everyone excited! The large crowd waiting in front of the entrance to the venue is a testament to the success of this event.
Please note this Sunday, May 3rd, at 11 am, the local choir, le P’tit chœur du grand Pic, will give a concert on the last day of the festival in the bicentennial hall.
