On September 5th, the small village of Martres-de-Rivière will come alive with the footsteps of yesteryear.

The call has been made: all players who wore the local team’s jersey in the 1980s are expected for a day of reunion filled with nostalgia and conviviality. The goal is to reignite memories: amid laughter and nostalgia, there will surely be talk of the unforgettable “disallowed goal of 1987,” an event that still haunts collective memories and locker room conversations.

This is a unique opportunity to relive the emotions of a time when local football was synonymous with passion and unwavering camaraderie. For the organizers, this gathering is a true memorial challenge to bring together the large Martres football family. Everyone is invited to come with their anecdotes, yellowed photos, and, most importantly, their intact enthusiasm. No need to warm up, the only condition is to have kept the team spirit alive.

To participate, simply register before June 6. The €25 fee, including the day’s festivities, will help fund this moment of emotional sharing. Registrations can be done by phone at 06 35 48 88 00 or 06 17 53 05 28.

To all former players, to those who ran on muddy fields, scored unforgettable goals, or simply vibed to the cheers: come in numbers! We rely on you to write a new page in the history of football in Martres-de-Rivière.
