The Best Bakery in France: Two Candidates in Quimper
Brittany is once again in the spotlight in the show The Best Bakery in France on M6.
Indeed, from Monday, April 27, 2026, until Friday, May 1, several artisans from Finistère and Morbihan are competing. The show airs at 6:35 pm.
Two candidates are based in Quimper: Lichouseries de Lokmaria and Painséum.
Here are the days they will be on television and the name of their opponent:
- Monday, April 27: Lichouseries de Lokmaria against l’Atelier du boulanger (in La Forêt-Fouesnant)
- Friday, May 1: Painséum against Ty Fournil in Coray
Relocation and Closure of QUB Agency
The commercial agency of the public transport network Qub, currently located on Quai du Steir in the city center, will be relocating a few meters away to 1 Rue Amiral-Ronarc’h. This new reception space will open on Wednesday, April 29.
On Monday, April 27, and Tuesday, April 28, the agency will be closed and replaced by a mobile agency on Quai du Steir. It will be open from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 6 pm. Qub network specifies that cash payment will not be possible in this temporary mobile agency.
European Cinema: Two Films at Katorza
On Monday, April 27, the final day of the European cinema festival at Katorza in partnership with the twinning committees of Quimper. On the program:
- At 6 pm: screening of the Romanian film Kontinental’25 by Radu Jude
- At 8:30 pm: screening of the Greek film Sous tension by Penny Panayotopoulou
