Starting next week, he will make listeners of France Inter laugh. According to Paris Match, Paul de Saint Sernin will be Bertrand Chameroy’s substitute in the morning show from Monday, April 27th to Thursday 30th. He had already appeared on the radio in 2023 for some guest hosting on the show in place of Matthieu Noël. This time, he will have his own segment at 7:55 am, just after Benjamin Duhamel’s interview.
“I am super happy to come and tell jokes on the number one radio station in France,” says Paul de Saint Sernin, even though he admits “not being a morning person.” The comedian, who is in a relationship with the daughter of a very popular star, is “very scared to set [his] alarm clock,” but promises a segment that reflects him. “It has to come from the belly and the heart. I’m not going to get up at 5 am to do something that doesn’t excite me,” he states.
Why is Bertrand Chameroy Taking a Break from France Inter at the End of April?
Bertrand Chameroy has a busy schedule. In the evenings, he delivers his humor on “C à vous,” a show where he has revealed the type of guests he struggles to tolerate. But in the early mornings, he also hosts his segment on France Inter’s morning show. Therefore, he is taking a few days off, as reported by Paris Match, to temporarily give his place to Paul de Saint Sernin. Next month, he will also step back from the radio to cover the Cannes Film Festival for “C à vous.” As of now, no replacement has been announced for him during this period.
