Ducobu and the Ghost of Saint-Potache, the sixth film in the series directed by Elie Semoun with Gérard Jugnot, will be released in theaters on October 7, 2026, just in time for Halloween.
The sixth installment of the comic book adaptation series “The Student Ducobu” by Godi and Zidrou, “Ducobu and the Ghost of Saint-Potache,” is directed by Elie Semoun. The film will be released in theaters on October 7, 2026, during the Halloween season.
It’s Halloween, and Professor Latouche and Mademoiselle Rateau move into a house haunted by the ghost of Anatole, once considered the biggest troublemaker in the history of Saint-Potache. This mischievous specter leads Ducobu, Léonie, their parents, and Kitrish on a series of hilarious and unexpected adventures.
The film is produced by Les Films du Premier and Les Films du 24, in co-production with TF1 Films Production and Umedia Production, with distribution by UGC. The filming took place in Belgium during the summer and autumn of 2025. The “Ducobu” series, whose first five installments have accumulated over six million entries, reintroduces its iconic characters with a new, unprecedented fantastical dimension. Fans can also enjoy previous installments, including “Ducobu’s Holidays,” “Ducobu 3,” and “Ducobu Goes Green,” which are available for streaming.
