But Jérôme Azé, the director of the IUT, instead highlights a lack of transparency, to justify his decision: “This Tuesday, May 19, I discovered a poster at the IUT of Béziers indicating that a conference hosted by Mr. Régis Le Sommier would take place on Thursday, May 21 in our premises. We have in no way validated the holding of this conference, nor the visual used of support for this communication Discussions were in progress with the organizer, but we did not have information on the content of the event (speaker, theme, visual). And we did not contract the rental of space, nor the provision of space for May 21. decision not to proceed with the holding of this conference.
