In a press release, Bruno Bernard, president of the Metropolis and candidate for re-election, thanks the voters and calls on all left-wing and citizen forces to take their responsibilities to support our progressive and solidarity project against the incoherent project of the right.
The ecologist argues: “Voting for Avançons ensemble, the union of the left and ecologists, is today the only way to prevent the right led by Véronique Sarselli and Jean-Michel Aulas from taking over the Metropolis. Their project remains unclear in its priorities, inconsistent in its choices, and carries a real risk of immobilism for our territory. Behind announcements without clear funding, there is a risk of slowing down, or even reversing, essential policies for the daily lives of residents.”
Lastly, he details his program again: “On the contrary, we have a solid and concrete project: to continue developing transportation, act for affordable housing, strengthen solidarity, accelerate the ecological transition, and protect purchasing power. A project built with residents, anchored in reality, and oriented towards the future of our Metropolis.”
