On Friday, 24 April, at 8:30 pm, the Vernon cinema is offering a screening of “Animus Femina” for a single rate of €6.50. The film gives voice to four women with very different backgrounds and universes – a scientist, a hermit, an artist, and a veterinarian – offering four unique and complementary perspectives on our relationship with the natural world. Through their voices, a plural and deeply human vision of life emerges, echoing the values of the Cap au Vert association, a partner of the screening.
Members of the association will be present to discuss their actions before the screening. Additionally, a stand with books about wildlife will be set up in the hall by La Compagnie des Livres.
In May, come see “The Devil Wears Prada.” The screening is scheduled for Saturday, 2 May at 8:30 pm, featuring a fashion show of clothes, shoes, and accessories at the beginning of the session with the Zalia boutique from Vernon.
Finally, on Tuesday, 5 May at 8 pm, the film “Soyons fous” will be screened in the presence of Amaury Pascaud, the film’s producer. The documentary, released in 2025, addresses the theme of mental health, following a team of individuals affected by mental disorders as they embark on the creation of an adventure film. Despite challenges, the collective energy and kindness offer hope to overcome obstacles.
