Today at 00:17, all the trophies of the evening were given out. After three hours of the show, the 4th edition of the Flammes is coming to an end. The big winner of the evening, Theodora, walked away with five awards, including the female artist and album of the year. Gims won the Flamme for male artist of the year, while the late rapper Werenoi posthumously received the rap album Flamme for his project “Diamant noir.” Thank you for following us on BFMTV.com.
Theodora was named the female artist of the year. The 22-year-old singer received the award from Angèle and it was her fifth award of the evening. She succeeded Belgian rapper Shay and beat out competitors like Aya Nakamura, Bamby, Eva, Maureen, Merveille, Meryl, Nej, Ronisia, and Wejdene.
On stage, Theodora took the opportunity to address victims of domestic violence. “Don’t forget that you are not alone,” she assured. “If there are people raising their hands on you, who are verbally violent, you are not alone. You can leave, the door is open,” she concluded.
Gims was named the male artist of the year despite his legal troubles. He won the highly coveted award, facing tough competition from other artists like Bouss, Guy2Bezbar, Hamza, Jul, La Fouine, La Mano 1.9, Leto, Ninho, and SDM. Though absent from the ceremony, he recorded a video message to thank his audience.
Today at 23:56, the rapper Calbo from the group Ärsenik was paid tribute, as he passed away in early January at the age of 53. Driver, the co-host, honored him, thanking him for showing the younger generation that talent can prevail and for showing the path of integrity to youth before bidding him farewell.
Hamza’s hit “Kyky2Bondy” won the Flamme for song of the year. The track, released in 2025, triumphed over nine other nominees, including songs from Aya Nakamura, Gims, and Disiz and Theodora.
