For nearly two weeks, sculpture comes to life in the heart of the Vosges.

From May 8 to 17, 2026, the city of La Bresse will host the 32nd edition of the International Sculpture Festival Camille Claudel; a unique artistic event bringing together professional sculptors from around the world!

Throughout the festival, the public can witness the creation of artworks live. Artists will work with various materials in front of visitors, offering a rare immersion into the sculptural creation process.

The theme chosen this year is: A world upside down.

Sculptors will have to work on their sculpture based on this theme. For this edition, different materials will be worked on: wood of course, but also stone, metal, cement for example. However, several sculptors have chosen to create using recycled materials.

An international artistic event

Each edition of the festival gathers 15 to 20 international professional sculptors, selected for the quality and uniqueness of their work.

This year, 18 professional sculptors will participate. Visitors can interact with the artists, observe the techniques used by the sculptors according to the material and follow the evolution of the works day by day.

The Festival also welcomes student sculptors, 6 of them this year, fostering encounters between generations of artists and cultural exchanges.

An accessible experience for everyone

The International Sculpture Festival Camille Claudel is a public event that allows people to discover sculpture in a lively and accessible way. Residents, visitors, and art enthusiasts can freely walk around the site, meet the artists, and witness the birth of sculptures.

Over the years, the Festival has become a major cultural event in the Vosges, attracting an increasingly wide audience and contributing to the artistic influence of the region.
