For nearly two weeks, sculpture comes to life in the heart of the Vosges.

From May 8 to 17, 2026, the town of La Bresse will host the 32nd edition of the International Camille Claudel Sculpture Festival; a unique artistic event bringing together professional sculptors from around the world!

Throughout the festival, the public will have the opportunity to witness the creation of artworks in real-time. Artists will work with various materials in front of visitors, providing a rare immersion into the sculptural creation process.

The theme chosen for this year is: A world upside down.

Sculptors will work on their sculpture based on this theme. For this edition, different materials will be used: wood of course, but also stone, metal, and cement for example. Some sculptors have opted to create from recycled materials.

An international artistic event

Each edition of the festival brings together 15 to 20 international professional sculptors, selected for the quality and uniqueness of their work.

This year, 18 professional sculptors will participate. Visitors can interact with the artists, observe the techniques used by sculptors based on the material, and follow the evolution of the artworks day by day.

The Festival also welcomes 6 student sculptors this year, fostering encounters between generations of artists and cultural exchanges.

An accessible experience for all

The International Camille Claudel Sculpture Festival is an event open to the general public, allowing people to discover sculpture in a lively and accessible way. Residents, visitors, and art enthusiasts can freely roam the site, meet the artists, and witness the birth of sculptures.

Over the years, the Festival has become a major cultural event in the Vosges, attracting an increasingly diverse audience and contributing to the artistic influence of the region.
