Arsene announces the arrival of Stéphane Chasseloup as an associate. Along with five collaborators, the lawyer aims to strengthen and structure the Customs & international Trade department of the firm, also covering excise duties, export controls, sanctions, and green taxation.
Changes are happening at Arsene! Stéphane Chasseloup and his team join the firm. This will enhance the Customs & international Trade department. The new team will work on excise duties, export controls, sanctions, and green taxation.
With almost twenty years of experience, Stéphane Chasseloup has worked at CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, Fidal, and KPMG Avocats, where he led the International Trade & Green Taxation practice. He advises companies on customs valuation, preferential origin, customs regimes, excise duty taxation (fuels, alcohol, tobacco), as well as managing impacts related to Brexit, trade wars, and ESG regulations. The lawyer holds a master’s degree in tax and customs law from the University of Rouen Normandy.
Stéphane Chasseloup also takes on the role of the Service Line International Trade, Customs & Regulatory at the global network Taxand, strengthening the network’s cross-border capabilities present in over 50 jurisdictions.
