In Quito, the interim Ecuadorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alejandro Dávalos, received the Moroccan delegation tasked with advancing the establishment of the embassy. During the meeting, Dávalos emphasized the significance of this diplomatic step, stating that it signifies an important stage that will strengthen bilateral ties with a strategic partner and open up new opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment, and development.
The Moroccan delegation indicated that the opening of the diplomatic mission in Quito aligns with a long-term vision to consolidate the Kingdom’s institutional presence in Latin America by strengthening political and economic channels with the Andean region.
