On April 11, 2026, Camille Cottin was a guest on the show “Quelle époque !” on France 2. Interviewed by Léa Salamé, the actress talked about her filming experience with Jean Dujardin and George Clooney. She revealed how the two men communicate and understand each other.

George Clooney, accessible international star

In a few days, Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache’s upcoming film “Juste une illusion” will be released, starring Camille Cottin. While most of Léa Salamé’s questions revolved around the film, the journalist still asked about her filming experience with Jean Dujardin and George Clooney. As the new ambassador for the same coffee brand as the two men, Camille Cottin has been able to get to know them more intimately.

“He is very nice. Sometimes there are actors who are known to be more reserved, but he is very talkative, he tells lots of stories, he completely meets you at your level. So, it was very nice,” she said about George Clooney. She described Frank Ocean’s actor and the OSS 117 actor as “very close,” although their relationship may suffer from a language barrier.

It only takes a look

“Jean doesn’t speak English very well and George doesn’t speak French very well, so they communicate through onomatopoeias!” Camille Cottin revealed, causing general hilarity by imitating the two men trying to communicate. She added, “It’s sincere, you can see that they are really happy to be together,” despite the language barrier.

Now also a Hollywood star, Camille Cottin does not seem to have this problem and could even end up getting to know George Clooney better in return. Described as accessible and comfortable with people, the actor shares another filming experience with the French actress in the film “Dix pour cent.” A continuation of the cult series and announced in October 2025, the film is expected to be released in 2027. “Dix pour cent” showcases Andréa, five years after the closure of her talent agency and in situations that will require her to reunite her old team to work again.
