Helene Collerette, born in Chicoutimi, Canada, discovered music thanks to her musician mother and music-loving father. She studied under Pierre Amoyal, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Vladimir Landsman, and Langis Breton, winning several international awards in France (Bordeaux competition), England (London quartet competition), Italy (Florence competition), Switzerland (Sion, Tibor Varga), and Canada.

Collerette has been the principal violinist of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France since 1996, after serving as the solo violinist for the Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse and the Opéra National de Lyon. (Source: helencollerette.com)
