In the advertising market, expanding to North America is an essential step. The founders of Audion decided it was time to take the plunge. Today, they announce a $15 million fundraising round with Elevation Capital Partners, Founders Future (the fund of Marc Menasé, shareholder of Maddyness), and Bpifrance. Previously, the company had already raised 6 million euros in 2022 and 1.1 million in 2019.

Founded in 2018 by Arthur Larrey and Kamel El Hadef, the company offers brands its proprietary technology and expertise to effectively communicate on all digital audio platforms. The growth of the sector largely depends on advertising since publishers and producers cannot offer audio content without monetization capabilities. This is where Audion’s offer becomes relevant.

In early 2026, the company launched Audion AI, its first suite of AI agents to automate and optimize large-scale campaigns and maximize business results for brands and media agencies. These agents identify weak signals on current trends and topics to generate advertising spots and broadcast them on the right channel at the right time.

Opening of a New York office

Already well-established in Europe, especially in France, Italy, the UK, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, the company, with 1,500 clients, aims to expand to the United States. In this context, one of the two founders, Arthur Larrey, will oversee the development of the American branch, with the opening of an office in New York. To quickly strengthen this office, around ten hires are planned by the end of the year.

«This fundraising marks a turning point: the convergence of audio, video, and AI is reshaping the market and allowing audio to become a true performance channel. The United States, the world’s leading market, is our next step to accelerate and confirm the traction of Audion AI on an international scale», says Arthur Larrey. The company also has offices in Paris, London, Milan, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Hamburg to accommodate its 50 employees.

To succeed in North America, Audion can draw inspiration from Vibe, an adtech launched by two French entrepreneurs: Franck Tetzlaff and Arthur Querou. Aspiring to become the “Meta” of TV advertising, the company closed a $50 million Series B round last year and aims to reach one billion dollars in revenue by 2028.
