The 53rd RT organized sports olympics as part of its partnership in the educational project of the defense classes, with five schools participating. Captain Amélie Gomichon, the event organizer, described the sports morning as the first of its kind, involving three classes from high schools in Lunéville, Lapie, Boutet de Monvel, Saint-Pierre Fourier, one class from Gerbéviller college, and one class from Loritz high school in Nancy. The 120 students started with a 2400m mini-cross inside the barracks, followed by competitions in the gymnasium including strength, orientation, laser shooting, and obstacle course. Each student earned points for their class, aiming to lead them to victory.

The Loritz high school took first place, with participants gathering on the parade ground for a warm-up led by Adjutant Abdel, the sports coordinator, before the competition began promptly to ensure the students returned to their schools by midday.

Loritz high school emerged as the overall winner, closely followed by Gerbéviller college, with Lapie high school claiming the third position on the podium.
