Iran is considering a new American proposal. “We have received the views of the American side and are currently examining them,” stated the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressing “great mistrust” towards the United States. The United States seizes an Iranian oil tanker. The American military announced on Wednesday that it had seized an Iranian-flagged oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman on suspicion of circumventing port blockades. Washington added that a total of 91 vessels had been diverted to enforce this measure.
