The princesses Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara of Bourbon Two Sicilies were present at a special event this Monday, May 18th. For this special occasion, the two sisters appeared in magnificent creations adorned with rhinestones. The Cannes Film Festival 2026 is in full swing, but not only that. It is also an opportunity for brands to showcase their new collections, such as Chopard, which launched its Red Carpet line titled “Miracles”. The Swiss jewelry house invited many personalities for a special evening on Monday, May 18th. Among them were the princesses Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara of Bourbon Two Sicilies, along with their parents, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla. The two sisters appeared in magnificent outfits, forming an iconic black and white duo. Princess Maria Carolina chose an elegant black dress signed by Roberto Cavalli and adorned with rhinestones. The dress was long, form-fitting, with a slightly flared bottom and long sleeves. The neckline was crystal-bordered, with an open back. The creator described the dress as “the embodiment of timeless elegance”. Roberto Cavalli later specified that the refined silhouette, featuring a fitted bodice and a slightly flared hem, is embellished with crystal-embroidered front cutout ending in a central teardrop-shaped opening. A unanimous hit among those present. Many personalities were invited to this exceptional evening. Bella Hadid, the house’s ambassador, was among the guests with her mother, Yolanda Hadid. Other notable attendees included Vassili Schneider, Adriana Lima, Demi Moore, Dita Von Teese, Carla Bruni, and Georgina Rodriguez. As explained by “Histoires Royales”, this collection aims to celebrate the miracles of nature, featuring pieces like an 88-carat Royal Blue sapphire necklace, an 87-carat emerald choker, and a brooch shaped like a carp animated by diamonds and sapphires. A collection that the princesses were delighted to discover. By Tiffany Iacomacci | Editor
