LAKEVIEW, Ore. – The Loveless Creek Fire burning in the North Warners has grown to 50 acres and is 75% contained, according to South-Central Oregon Fire Management.
The fire saw little growth overnight and stayed within yesterday’s burn area. All containment lines held through the night.
Fire crews are actively working to suppress the blaze. Their goal is to reach 100% containment by the end of today’s shift.
Ten engines, two dozers, one water tender, five hand crews and one Type 1 helicopter are on scene fighting the fire.

LAKE COUNTY, Ore. – A wildfire burning in the North Warners has grown to an estimated 15 acres.
Fire crews are working to contain the Loveless Creek Fire. Firefighters are building and strengthening containment lines around the blaze.
The goal for tonight is to fully line the fire, according to South-Central Oregon Fire Management.
Three engines, one dozer and one hand crew are on scene.
More resources have been ordered and will arrive tomorrow morning to help with the firefight.
