A fragile ceasefire. Donald Trump asserted on Monday, May 11 that the United States would emerge completely victorious in the war against Iran, amid a deadlock between Tehran and Washington to find a resolution to the conflict.
“We will have a complete victory. We have already had, in theory, a complete victory from a military standpoint,” declared the American President in front of the press at the White House.
According to the American President, the ceasefire “hangs by a thread.” The truce is “on life support,” he also estimated, as both sides have so far failed to reach an agreement to end the war.
“The ceasefire is on massive life support, like when the doctor enters and says: ‘Sir, your loved one has exactly a one percent chance of survival,'” he declared in the Oval Office of the White House.
