Coastal Flood Advisory in Effect
An important advisory has been issued for Dorchester, Wicomico, and Somerset Counties. The advisory is in effect from 10 PM this evening until 6 AM EDT Thursday.
There is a warning of up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. Shallow flooding is expected in vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline, posing a low threat of property damage. Some roads, parking lots, parks, and lawns near the waterfront may experience shallow flooding.
Precautionary actions include allowing extra travel time, avoiding driving through water of unknown depth, and taking steps to protect flood-prone property.

- Cambridge, MD: Minor 3.5 ft, Moderate 4.0 ft, Major 4.5 ft
- Bishops Head, MD: Minor 3.2 ft, Moderate 3.7 ft, Major 4.2 ft
- Crisfield, MD: Minor 3.5 ft, Moderate 4.0 ft, Major 5.0 ft
