On Sunday, May 10, 2026 from 8:30 am to 7 pm, the Lann-Bihoué Naval Aeronautical Base in Ploemeur (Morbihan) will host an air show to celebrate its 80th anniversary. The event will feature a mix of history, aerial demonstrations, and immersion in the world of aeronautics, according to the Ministry of Armed Forces and Veterans.

All proceeds from the event will support social causes for military personnel, sailors, pilots, wounded individuals, people with disabilities, hospitalized children, and their families.

Visitors can explore a large static exhibition of both old and modern aircraft from the French military, foreign militaries, civil security, Customs, as well as vintage aircraft like the Nord 1101 and Rallye.

Throughout the day, the sky will come alive with over 6 hours of aerial demonstrations featuring rare aircraft like Spitfire RM927, P-51 Mustang, Corsair F4U, and military aircraft including the Patrouille de France.

Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the history of naval aeronautics and the French Navy. Shuttle parking and free buses will be available upon presentation of the entrance ticket, and on-site catering will be provided. Bringing your own food is also an option.

The event is open to everyone for a fee. Detailed program information can be found on the official website. Entrance to the event is by reservation only.
