As part of the local community outreach for people aged 60 and over, aimed at preventing loss of autonomy, the ADMR, in partnership with the cultural and social service of the departmental council and with the support of funding institutions, is organizing creation workshops using wire, paper, acrylic, and fabric. These workshops will be led by Nathalie Andrieu, a sculptor and visual artist.
Last Friday, at the ADMR, a presentation meeting was organized by Gilbert Vigneron, president of the ADMR, and Colette Scudier, expert in cultural engineering and social ties in Occitan, at the Departmental Council’s department of culture, arts, and museums, in the presence of Nathalie Andrieu. Club leaders and Nathalie, the animator from the Roussilhe nursing home, were also present. It was decided to offer and set up free creation workshops for participants. These workshops will take place starting from Friday, June 5th, from 2 pm to 4 pm, at a room in the Roussilhe nursing home or from 4:15 pm to 6:15 pm at the ADMR, every other week.
The dates for the workshops are June 5th, June 19th, July 3rd, September 11th, September 25th, October 9th, and October 23rd.
These workshops are free and open to all, with registration required through Gilbert Vigneron at 06 88 14 41 42.
