For four years, the war in Ukraine continues, stagnates, and internationalizes. Vladimir Putin, who has long displayed unwavering confidence, now seems to be racing against time.

In recent weeks, Russia has shown signs of vulnerability: a ceasefire in Ukraine immediately violated, reduced celebrations of May 9, 2026, unprecedented internal unrest, and an economy suffocated by sanctions, but temporarily saved by the surge in oil prices due to the war in Iran.

However, Moscow does not give up. They play on all fronts: indirect support to Tehran, pivot towards China, and attempt to maintain their influence in the Far East, a strategic region where Chinese presence grows daily.

Is Russia losing the war in Ukraine? Is the pivot towards Asia a lifeline or a trap? What do internal tensions and economic situation tell us about the future of the Putin regime?
