The ADAC MX Masters, launched in 2005, is the main German motocross championship. It is organized by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC). It takes place every spring and summer, and generally consists of seven to eight races held in Germany: “In 2025, the situation has changed,” emphasizes Alain Roeckel, a longtime member of UM Bitchoise, who has become a jack-of-all-trades for the club. “After fruitful discussions with the championship management and a visit to our facilities, Bitche’s Martinsthal circuit has joined the program: it’s the only race outside of Germany for the season,” he continues. Scheduled for the end of summer in 2025, the race weekend has been moved up to May for this new season. Bitche will be the third stage of the 2026 season, which includes a total of seven stages.

A choice line-up

For this new race weekend in Bitche, over 200 riders from 18 different nationalities, across all categories, from the best European spheres and international MXGP, will be present: “One thing is certain: the level will be very high. This championship is just below the World Championship. There will be great spectacle.”

Three categories of riders will be represented in Bitche: “There will be the MX Masters (450 cc), the premier category, bringing together professional international level riders; the Youngster cup (250cc), which often gathers young up-and-coming pros under 21 years old; and the Junior Cup 125 (125 cc), composed of young hopefuls.” During the weekend, these three categories will participate in free practice, qualifications, and several races: “Spectators will be able to see everything.” Alongside the sporting aspect, the UM Bitchoise has taken care of the event: “Various exhibitors from the motorcycle world will have stands, children can try out motorcycles on a small track, there will be food options, and we will even welcome Red Bull, one of the biggest partners of the championship,” concludes Alain Roeckel. Over 150 volunteers will be involved throughout the weekend.

“It will be a great show!”
