The 37th French theater awards ceremony saw “The Trial of a Lifetime”, inspired by the life of Gisèle Halimi, triumph in the midst of a glittering list: fifteen shows shared nineteen awards.
Among the notable prizes, it is also worth noting that Alex Lutz went home with his third Molière award for humor for his show “Sex, Grog, and Rocking-Chair”, directed by Tom Dingler.
Actress Muriel Robin, who returns to the stage in January 2027 at Marigny, received a Molière of honor last night to salute her career. Her close friend Vincent Dedienne presented it to her after paying her a touching tribute.
Josiane Balasko was also recognized: she took home the Molière for best supporting actress in a private theater show “Yeah, That’s Love” by Jean Robert-Charrier.
Finally, the Molière for best supporting actor in a public theater show went to Laurent Lafitte in “La Cage aux Folles” by Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein.
