Leading by up to 17 points, Marine Mulumba and her teammates were virtually qualified. But Corinne Benintendi’s team did not give up: coming back to -9 (35th), the Ligériennes finished stronger.
The final score (75-70) gives the victory to Voiron, but the qualification to Montbrison.
The final will therefore begin on Saturday, May 16 in Montbrison, before returning to Isère for the return leg in La Tronche/Meylan (Friday 22), and possibly the decider (Sunday 24) in case of one win each.
