The President of Vélo Sport de Rhuys (VSR), in Sarzeau, Lionel Le Gac, invited the club members, its four main sponsors, as well as Maryse Burban, the second deputy in charge of associative life and sports, representing the municipality of Sarzeau, and David Lappartient, president of the International Cycling Union (UCI), on Friday, May 1st. The purpose of this meeting was to present the new uniforms for the 2026-2027 season for male and female competitors, and cyclists.
A slight setback, however, disrupted the evening, as the black and red uniforms for men, and pink and black for women, were stuck in the delivery truck that was only set to arrive the next day. Nevertheless, this incident did not dampen the atmosphere thanks to the dynamism of the board members and club members.
This evening was an opportunity for the president, Lionel Le Gac, to remind everyone of the two upcoming events organized by VSR: the Grand Prix de Penvins on Saturday, May 16, featuring two events reserved for women, and the 39th Tour de Rhuys on September 20.
