After winning the hearts of viewers on “Les 12 Coups de midi” and amassing a substantial sum, Cyprien reveals an unexpected future. We knew that the young Maestro’s goal was to dedicate himself to his deep passion for music. But he also announces his involvement in another project.

Arriving on the set of “12 Coups de midi” on September 19, 2025, Cyprien made history on the famous TF1 show. After exactly seven months of competition, the 22-year-old student chose to bid farewell on Sunday, April 19, 2026, after his 212th appearance. This voluntary departure, without losing to an opponent, allows him to walk away with an impressive jackpot of 861,337 euros.

His departure from the show was primarily to focus on his true passion: his musicology studies. Motivated by the mental demands of filming and social media pressure, this retreat also provides him with precious time. He has been able to re-engage in an activity he had set aside: writing. In an interview with the magazine “Télé Poche,” released on Monday, April 27, the former noon Maestro shared, “I have, for example, resumed writing a novel that I had abandoned for a few years.” He hopes that his book will be appreciated for its intrinsic qualities and not just because of his success on the show.

Returning to writing fits into an already hectic schedule for Cyprien. Explaining his early departure in a video posted on TikTok, he mentioned the academic obligations approaching the end of the year, exams, and thesis deadlines. Besides working on his novel, the young man also plans to develop other artistic projects.

As a published poet, Cyprien has expressed a desire to further explore this literary aspect. In the realm of music, his preferred field, many challenges lie ahead. The former contestant plans to actively focus on conducting, practicing the piano, and chamber music. His departure from television screens can indeed be seen as a real springboard for his life projects.
