According to the Spanish media outlet Sport, after their trophyless season, Real Madrid is preparing to part ways with a handful of players to refresh their squad.

Real Madrid is getting ready for the new season and is planning to offload unwanted players from the squad at the Casa Blanca in Madrid. Fans have criticized the lack of teamwork among star players, especially the poor connection between Vinicius and Mbappé, which has been heavily criticized in Spain. Sport reports that it is the players who were developed at the club that Real Madrid is looking to let go, with Asensio and Fran Garcia now considered unwanted.

Even Dani Ceballos, the Real Madrid midfielder who was linked with a move to Marseille last summer, is under scrutiny. David Alaba, whose contract expires at the end of June, is also expected to leave.

Camavinga leaving?

As per Sport, Camavinga is currently in his fifth and final season with Real Madrid. The 23-year-old Frenchman, valued at around 50 million euros on Transfermarkt, faced criticism after receiving his second yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct leading to a red card and expulsion in the 86th minute against Bayern Munich. Despite his expulsion, RMC Sport reports that the player does not want to leave Real Madrid and still has the trust of the club’s leadership, particularly President Florentino Perez.

The prodigies returning home

Although these departures will leave a gap in Real Madrid’s dressing room, Florentino plans to bring back their talents shining in other clubs. Endrick, currently on loan at Lyon without a purchase option, will return to Madrid at the end of the season. Nico Paz, who impresses every weekend at Cesc Fàbregas’s Cádiz, has a buy-back clause of 9 million euros that Real Madrid intends to activate. Similarly, Victor Muñoz, performing well at Osasuna, will return to Madrid at the end of the season for just 8 million euros.
