In Martigues, the youth / police football tournament is returning for its 2nd edition this Saturday at Stade Francis Turcan. Organized as part of Youth Month, the event is free and open to the public. It aims to strengthen the bonds between young people and law enforcement in a friendly spirit. The day is co-organized with Raid Aventure Organisation. Activities and stands are also planned for families throughout the day.

As part of Youth Month, the city of Martigues has been hosting the second edition of a highly anticipated sports and civic event since 10am this morning: a football tournament pitting young people from Martigues against municipal and national police. Organized until 3pm, this friendly meeting takes place at Stade Francis Turcan, with free entry available to the public.

Beyond the competition, this event aims to strengthen the ties between young people and law enforcement through respect, dialogue, and sharing. On the field, fair play and teamwork are key, while outside, various activities fill the day including workshops to discover the work of a police officer.

The event is co-organized with the association Raid Aventure Organisation, known for its proximity actions with young people. Activity stands are offered to families, providing a festive and intergenerational moment accessible to all.

This tournament is part of a broader program dedicated to the youth of Martigues, showcasing sports, cultural, and civic initiatives throughout the month. It’s a great opportunity for residents to come together around positive values and to support the local youth.
