Le Trail de la Roche Noire, a first that will fill Ventron
Although he has been living abroad for a long time, Antoine Gérard has not forgotten his eternal roots. Throughout his career, he remained a member of the US Ventron club. This unbreakable bond is more relevant than ever with the organization, on Sunday, May 3, on the lands of his childhood, of the first edition of the Trail de la Roche Noire (named after a place in the area): “It is a combination of things that led us to decide. The idea is to showcase the surroundings and the trails, as well as to revitalize the club. We also want to offer entertainment in the town center. I am the director of the organization, fully volunteering my expertise. It interested me to do it in my village. We are very proud of that,” detailed Antoine Gérard.
The route will take place in a playground that the Infernal Trail also uses, and this new event seems to have found its audience. 500 trail runners will have responded to the call. This is the maximum capacity for the two proposed formats (15 km and 650 m elevation gain; 35 km and 1,500 m elevation gain).
